Putrajaya/Cyberjaya

I'm starting to love living in Putrajaya/Cyberjaya. I went back here after a weekend at Taman Perwira last night and I was stunned at how Putrajaya looks like at night. Brimming with lights and bright and so colorful. It is sad to admit that the city looks alive only from afar. Wait till you get inside.

Putrajaya to me is all apartment buildings and terrace houses and 2-storey bungalows and grass and trees and lots of empty roads. It is so quiet. Number of schools are reasonable but that doesn't apply to me does it. It's close to UPM, Lim Kok Wing, MMU which I sooo the like. Traffic jam equals to non-existent, that surely a plus plus point. I can get out of the house at 8.10am and still manage to arrive at work before 8.30am. What I like the most is I can prepare my own breakfast and lunch now. Terrific!

Anyway, like I said, beautiful at night doesn't mean everything finds you easy. If I want to shop for groceries, I have to go all the way to Alamanda or pasar basah Prescint 8. If I want to isi minyak then have to stop by at Precint 9 and they only have Petronas here... hmmphhhhff! I don't know where can I get my car washed around here. If malas nak masak at night then have to go out far for food. Movies are like aliens here since they don't have any cinema around. And I heard the building I live in right now is not ready for internet connection yet. WHAT??!!!!

I feel sick.

But you know what, of all decent things here in Putrajaya, I like the dataran putra (mosque) at night best (so far). Oh it's just the best place to unwind ~~~

I expect hanging out at Seri Wawasan bridge while eating KFC will top that off soon.

Empty soul

I've been feeling a little strange lately like I lamented in previous post. Yesterday morning on my way to work, I met an accident. I rammed straight into a bike moving from the opposite direction.
I didn't see him coming right until it happened. I won't go into details here since I'm still feeling down.

This morning I reversed the car too much it hit the divider.

Now my car looks like it's been through series of rummages. Funny thing is I don't really care, not as much as I did before.

I'll need money to fix that but I haven't given it a thought yet. This past month, money has been flowing out like water, what with moving and travelling and whatnot. Would this make a difference? No, right? So who the hell cares.

Something is wrong here, obviously. But what could it be? I'm losing focus.

Something is bothering me

I don't know what yet but I feel like I'm leading a stranger's life, not mine... something fishy is going on with my life right now. This is weird.

Update: Where is my earphone haaa? It's gone missing. I've checked my backpack, checked my handbag, everywhere. Alah malas betul nak beli baru.

I'm bored at work! Help!

Things are going so slow and I'm so bored. It's looking bleak but then again it's only been 2 days ;) and I had a long week to myself prior to that so no wonder I'm all restless. It's looking bleak nevertheless. But as my mom puts it, tak buat apa tapi gaji banyak takpa laaaaa..... (gaji tak banyak ye, my mom likes to exaggerate) but point taken.

Today I heard that someone was asking about *.rar, how to open it etc. That signaled my heart to pump faster and made me think what kind of team am I in? RAR pun tatau?! Seriyes risau but I found out later that person is not in my unit --- phew!

Hey it turned out one new colleague went for an interview at LAVA last year. He's a big guy so when I think about it, one big guy did come around Sept/Oct last year. Small world.

One more thing my manager is one cheeky thing. Right after I settled in, he said "We're going to give you Ubuntu" with that same menacing smile he gave me over and over during interview sessions. I believe I had my mouth agape but managed to cover it by looking away and stacking piles of paper on my desk. So I said "Alright..." and proceeded to worry.

A day later here I am, thinking what on earth was I so worried about? It's just a machine. If it doesn't work straight, go around it and kick it from behind.

p/s: I basically can't develop anything without Notepad++. Personally, there's just no other editor can match the level it's gloriously sitting on right now. I've been looking for its linux counterpart but still no sign. I miss my dark theme.

1. Name one person who made you laugh last night.
I don't think I laughed last night. Not that hard to remember one. Abah made me laugh today though. He forgot Mueh was in the car before driving away from his place.

Still in bed.

There's this little girl in my distant family, belah mak, anak sedara ke hape ntah, she's around 10 or 11 but god only knows how rude she is with older people. Sangat la takde manners bila bercakap dengan orang tua. I witnessed once when she suddenly interrupted (verrrryy rudely) abah and an uncle talking, somewhere along the line "Hah! Bagus la tu, borak lagi, borak lagi!" at which I responded a quite verbal "Whoa!". Terkejut weh tengok budak kecik buat camtu kat orang tua. My address now read Putrajaya

Yay! Found a house! Much much cheaper than what I had earlier. It's not a high rise apartment or a condo or a single storey house. It's a flat where they don't have attached bathroom for the master bedrooms (sangat tak convenient) but I don't really care as long as the housemate is cool, I'm cool with it. Also I was hoping to find a place where they have security 24/7 or at least gated residence but the place looks impossibly tranquil I don't really mind about it now. I was considering the late hours I'll be doing (or not!) but that's not really the point. I was just taking into account my safety and also to keep my mom happy. Well, as long as I don't wonder around in quiet place then I'll be fine.

Also,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABAH!

What is your Kamasutra IQ?

I've just answer a set of quiz on facebook. And I must say it's pretty hilarious. Not the questions but my reactions. What is kamasutra? Could it be 'Exploration of how virtue, prosperity, and eroticism are mutually interdependent' or is it just plain 'sexual position manual'? How the hell should I know? The former is supposed to sound tranquil (I think) but they sound so funny with artistic location of words put together it's disturbing. So I pick latter instead. What else could have described it anyway.

What should be the priority in life, according to Kamasutra? Is it a) Virtuous living, b) Be Green, c) Entrepreneurship, d) Pleasure or e) Partying?

I'm telling you I'm so tempted to pick (b) but then again my result would be lower wouldn't it? I can't take pride in lower scores....

What scam.

Looking for a room to rent is such a pain in the ass!

I had just spent the whole day scouring for information online. What a total lack of kesedaran IT betul lah these people. Ape la salahnye post ad online so senang orang nak cari betul tak? It's sooo hard to get a listing. Well, it's easy to get a listing but it's not alot to start with. Well at least there are starting points so thank god for that. Lookit me I'm nagging... lalalala

I should be doing something else today. Instead I got a headache.

Isyyy macam-macam....

Anyway, I have to give it to myself for my total brilliant-ness for taking the whole week off. Looks like my random act of spontaneity is paying off. Giler penat. It turned out I have so much stuff going on.

The rooms I'm going to see this weekend is RM350 - RM485. Mak! Perut macam ditoreh dengan pisau lipat ok. Can you imagine the deposit amount? Giler materialistik zaman sekarang nih. All cheaper rooms all taken. Hisyh! I know there's a few more hidden from plain view but I'm just total blank when it comes to house hunting. Mak tulon!

Sape2 ada contact kat Cyberjaya/Seri Kembangan, please la be kind and help me out.
