Nymeria aka Mimi transfixed with watching birds

Oh how I've missed blogging. It used to be my vent out channel. If it's not for the tweets, people may think that I have died. I think age has caught up with me, I don't talk about anything in public anymore. How sad. But I'd like to think I'm still young, at least I look 10 years younger hehe.

Anyway, it's going to be a cat post tonight. I'm in love with Mimi's round and attentive eyes. I think it's because of that Kitzyme I've been feeding her since small.

Esprit in da house

Another cattery has asked help to care for this guy, I just said yes. He's a british shorthair! I can't say no to that breed. Longhair breed susah sikit nak jaga, you have to comb the hair and stuff. I don't have the time to groom them. Nak bagi mandi pun lama. Other shorthair breed suka lompat-lompat pulak... lepas tu ada breed yang bising. So bsh ftw!

I kinda tried using his name Esprit but after awhile, got tired of mispronouncing it so it became Epit. Heh.

He came to me not in good condition. So it's become my mission to have him look the a proper male bsh. Masculine, huge, smouldering male bsh. I'm giving myself and him 3 months. We'll see how he turn out.

Using Adium 1.5.7 for OCS on Mac OS X 10.8.4

Unfortunately in the office where I work currently, the IM that we're using is Microsoft Communicator (I forgot what the OCS stands for but I'm talking about the same IM client). I have Microsoft for Mac and OCS is included but somehow it doesn't work.

So Adium is the next best thing. The only thing is it doesn't come with OCS plugin built-in. I followed the steps here and it works. Yay.

Sudden itch for white loaf bread

I baked a loaf the other day. It turned out to be abit dense so I had 2 slices and I was full. It's been a while since I made one and this time I made it by memory (or so I thought).

I'm not sure what caused it to be not white - it's yellowy-brownish i theeenk, I guess because I used organic flour.

Should use more yeast next time.

Gave half of it to my other half - asik perli tak abes2 pasal buat roti. Haaa nah amek :) 

It's really delicous when you have it while it's warm. I had it with kaya and it was really nice, super lembut! The day after I made garlic bread with it. And that was yummy as well.

All in all it was a good experience. I loved it! Will try some other bread types I've used to make next time.
