Why is it so damn hard to sell used books in Malaysia?

I'm so tired of looking online for ways to get rid of my textbooks. Why can't somebody starts buying used books and get me out of this misery. I have lots of used books. Some I don't even open anymore. Malaysians don't read as many books as other parts of the world. So now I'm facing this problem.

Please don't tell me to throw them away. They are books.

    Im not why people in Malaysia dont read or buy much books, it could be one of those things....different countries has different cultures.
